Will the Supreme Court Widen the School-Choice Debate?

The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to announce its judgment on a Cleveland voucher case before it adjourns in July. If the court upholds the Ohio law that allows poor students in failing school districts to choose religious schools, among other options, the impact will be highly significant. The court will thereby recognize that the free choice of religious schools with public funds does not violate the Constitution's First Amendment establishment clause.
