Center for Public Justice Receives Annie E. Casey Foundation Award

The Annie E. Casey Foundation has selected the Center for Public Justice for a 2012 award to promote both faith-based civil-society efforts and effective partnerships between government and civil-society organizations to reduce poverty and promote opportunity.

The work is aligned with the Center's theological-philosophical foundation as articulated in its Guidelines for Government and Citizenship. "We are grateful to be back in relationship with the Annie E. Casey Foundation, which funded our work on the evaluation of Charitable Choice implementation in the mid-1990s," said CEO Stephanie Summers.
