2007 Leadership Award
Dr. Max Stackhouse
Rimmer and Ruth de Vries Professor of Reformed Theology and Public Life (Emeritus), Princeton Theological Seminary
The Center honored Dr. Max Stackhouse with its 2007 Leadership Award for his contributions to interpreting and evaluating the dynamics of globalization at work in the world today. Dr. Stackhouse is the editor of the four-volume series God and Globalization. He also served the director of the Kuyper Center for Public Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary.
In a ceremony at the historic Robert Bacon House, the home of the Diplomatic and Consular Officers/Retired professional association, the Center presented Dr. Stackhouse with a plaque honoring his leadership in “advancing the vision and thought of Abraham Kuyper and a Christian understanding of globalization and human rights.”
